Prices
Price quotations are subject to change without notice. Prices listed for all tours, packages, trips, etc. are for transportation only.  Entrance fees into destination locations must be paid individually upon arrival to those locations.  While Jamrock Journeys can assist by contacting destinations for pricing, we do not at this time assume responsibility for your payment for admissions to the various destinations where we travel. Tips/gratuities to tour directors, drivers or local guides and other service providers are not included in our prices.
 

Payment
Tour and transfer bookings must be pre-paid except otherwise stated on product page. Jamrock Journeys will not send a guide to pick up a potential guest(s) without confirmation that payment has been received.  Bookings must be paid in full prior to beginning of tour or transfer. Most tours only require a small deposit to hold your space and half of the balance amount paid at least 7 days prior to the tour date.  The remaining balance (50% of the tour package) must be paid in cash USD if cost for tour was not paid in full prior to tour date.  Payment through the website (www.jamrockjourneys.com) can be made via Visa, MasterCard, Discovery, and American Express. Payment will be listed as JAMROCKJOURNEYS.COM on the credit card statement. You will be charged in United States Dollars (USD).  Payments can also be made via PayPal and most useful if the guest(s) prefers to make installments.

Confirmation
Jamrock Journeys will send a confirmation invoice by e-mail within 24-48hrs after guest(s) agree to book. At least a 25% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.  Written or verbal agreements to book tour or to pay deposit cannot be upheld until required deposit amount is received.  If written or verbal agreement is made with guest(s) and invoice is sent to guest(s), however no payment is received in 24 hours of sending invoice, Jamrock Journeys reserves the right to allow another guest(s) to supersede the original agreeing guests if the new guest is the first to make the appropriate deposit.  Print the invoice for your convenience and for record keeping purposes.  Add us as a contact in your mailing list to avoid our emails going to your junk mail box as your email provider may recognize us as spam. All information regarding the travelers should be correctly given at the time of booking. Jamrock Journeys cannot be held responsible for any problems that may arise as a result of your negligence in completing the reservation form or failure to read carefully your confirmation invoice.

Refund Policy


Refunds for Packages:

Jamrock Journeys will give a standard full refund (the total price of the package tour or service less any third party credit card processing fees where applicable) for reservations that are cancelled 7 or more days prior to the scheduled date of service, unless otherwise specified.  A minimum cancellation fee of $75 or 10% of the total service or package price, whichever is greater, will apply to reservations that are cancelled 6 to 3 days prior to the scheduled date of service.  Cancellations made within 2 days prior to scheduled tour day will be charged a minimum cancellation fee of $75 plus 15% of the total service package.  Refunds are made to the booking party only. If payment was made by and through a travel agency, the refund will be made to that entity. Customers must request a refund in writing. Refunds will not be issued without a reply to the original order confirmation e-mail.

No Show Fees:

If the guest(s) has not attempted to cancel via phone, email, text or any other means of correspondence at any point prior to the scheduled tour date, does not show up at designated meeting location, and does not notify Jamrock Journeys in writing within 48 hours of missed tour date and time, the guest(s) will be considered a “no show”.  When you reserve a booking and do not show up, Jamrock Journeys incurs sunken costs, as well as lose the opportunity to host another group. As such, a minimum “no show” fee of $100 plus 25% of the total tour package will apply.  If the amount paid prior to arrival is equal to or less than the “no-show” fee, then the guest(s) will forfeit the total amount paid.  If the amount paid prior to arrival is greater than the amount of the “no-show” fee, Jamrock Journeys will refund the guest(s) the remaining dollar amount after no show fees and any third party payment processing fees are subtracted.  Jamrock Journeys will not attempt to recoup a dollar amount that is more than the amount that is required to be paid by guest(s) prior to the scheduled tour date.  If the guest(s) has not attempted to cancel prior to the scheduled tour date, does not show up at the designated meeting location however notifies Jamrock Journeys in writing within 48 hours, a cancellation fee of $100 plus 15% of the total service package will apply.

Cancellations Due to Weather on behalf of Jamrock Journeys and/or on Behalf of Guest(s):

Jamrock Journeys will make our best effort to fulfill our service agreement rain or shine even if it means delaying the day’s departure or choosing similar alternate destinations that would be more suitable for the weather.  Necessary alternative arrangements will only be made with your consent.  However, safety is always a top priority, and if the terrain is too dangerous to navigate or if the destination location would not be fit for visitors during bad weather, Jamrock Journeys reserves the right to cancel the tour and provide you with a refund or an opportunity to reschedule.  If a tour is canceled due to weather because of a ship's inability to get into port or change in cruise route in which the ship does not dock at the scheduled port, it is your responsibility to contact us for a full refund within 48 hours of your scheduled service date and time.  Jamrock Journeys will confirm the accuracy of ship’s inability to dock and provide the guest(s) with a full refund after confirmation.  If the guest(s) decides to cancel due to his/her/their judgement of bad weather and Jamrock Journeys agrees with the severity of the weather conditions and would forfeit trips for any other guests as previously stated above, then a full refund will be provided to that guests once Jamrock Journeys is contacted within 48 hours.  If the guest(s) decides to cancel due to his/her/their judgement of bad weather and Jamrock Journeys does not agree with the severity of the weather conditions and would not forfeit trips for any other guests as previously stated above, then there will be a cancellation fee of $75 plus 15% of total service package. If Jamrock Journeys does not receive any correspondence from you to cancel due to outstanding circumstances such as weather within 48 hours, we will assume it is a no-show and the corresponding fees will apply as described in the “No Show Fees” section.  When a cancellation is made due to weather, we will accept refund requests via phone as power lines and internet connection could potentially be affected.  

Refunds for Airport and Hotel Transfers:

You must cancel a transfer at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time to receive a standard full refund (see above).  You can also choose to have that transfer held for up to 1 year from the date the original booking was made.  After 1 year, the credited transfer will no longer be valid and will not be eligible for a refund.  Transfers cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick up time that are valued at $100 or less, whether booked as round-trip or one-way, are non-refundable, non-transferable and name changes are not allowed. For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick up time that are valued greater than $100, you will receive a refund minus the $100 cancellation fee for transfers and 10% of the total transfer price in excess of $100.  For example, if the total cost of your transfer is $200 and you cancel less than 24 hours beforehand, we would retain $110, (the $100 minimum cancellation fee + 10% of $100 is $10= $110) and refund you $90.     

Disputed Charges

Customers who dispute a credit card charge by filing a chargeback with their card company will be charged a $50 administrative fee (per case) by Jamrock Journeys if the chargeback is ruled in favor of Jamrock Journeys by the financial institution. If your disputed charge is not recognized, a $50 administrative fee will also be charged to your credit card per case.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The liability of Jamrock Journeys and its web sites jamrockjourneys.com is limited. Jamrock Journeys acts only as an agent for the passengers in all functions pertaining to tours, attractions, restaurants, meals and services, sightseeing tours and transportation of whatever nature, and assumes no liability for injury, loss, damage, accident, delay or inconveniences which may occur either by reason of defect, or as acts of government or other civil authorities (war, civil disturbances, strikes, etc.) or from any cause beyond Jamrock Journeys’ control. Jamrock Journeys can accept no responsibility for the loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedule or other causes. Jamrock Journeys and its suppliers reserve the right to cancel or rescheduled any tour departure in accordance with operation requirements. Jamrock Journeys reserves the right to refuse booking to anyone at its sole discretion. Jamrock Journeys reserves the right to cancel scheduled tours, transfers and activities at any time in the event of insufficient sales, hazardous weather conditions or unforeseen operational problems.

Any booking made with Jamrock Journeys will be governed by and subject to these Terms & Conditions. No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of Jamrock Journeys.  These terms and conditions are liable to change without notice.
